To drink or not to drink, that is the question
What benefit/detriment does completing the Drink From the Chalice of Corruption and/or the Masters of Corruption have?
Thanks, Shane |

I think that is a quest, right? Well it doesn't matter either way to finish it. But one will have you attacked.

If you drink from it the am fah won't attack you but you will have constant -2 degen. If you don't drink from it the am fah attack you, you kill them, its over.

Yeah, I just don't know if it has any impact on the developing storyline.
Guess not, or you guys would have mentioned it! Thanks, Shane |

It's easiest to just refuse to drink it. But some people will actually take the chalice quest just to get the green plague look.

One thing I did notice, though.
For some reason, the Am Fah are now my buddies. Even before I went to Brother Tosai, even now that I have abandoned the Masters quest AND have stolen the Orrian Tome! They all show up green, and do not aggro with me. Guess I won't be stealing any skills from them, eh? LOL |

I find it better to accept the quest but to never act on it. That way, the Am Fah in the bazaar won't attack you while you run around there doing all the quests (unless you want the XP from killing them over and over and over).
You can also speak to Brother Tosai, receive the Chalice (and the quest XP reward), then step away from him without making a decision. This has the same effect except then you're stuck with the Chalice taking up an inventory slot, although I guess you could put it in storage (where it still is taking up a slot). |

You should take that opportunity to Vanquish that area - a ton less enemies.

Had clue NOT what you were referring to with 'vanquish', but do now.
Thanks GuildWiki! And thank YOU, bro. I will do that. Should only be a few Jade Brotherhood there now, and how do I know how many enemies I have left before the area is vanquished? Shane |
